Every good story has a beginning, and this one started with a little encouragement from Patio Gallery owner Laura Gann’s father. In 1978 the Bees Gees collected a Billboard #1 music award for Saturday Night Fever, the movie Grease opened starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, and NASA selected its first American women astronauts. It was also the year when, at just 18 years of age, Laura Gann opened the Patio Gallery business.
